Company Overview
AnMed Health has been an inseparable part of the Anderson community for nearly a century. From its modest beginnings in 1908 as a 25-bed hospital, AnMed Health has evolved into a 3400-employee integrated healthcare delivery system.
AnMed's mission is to improve the health and well-being of the greater Anderson area with high quality, sophisticated healthcare offerings. Major service lines include Heart Care, Cancer Care, Women's and Children's Services, and a variety of related diagnostic and surgical services. Anchored by a 461-bed acute care facility, AnMed Health Medical Center, AnMed also has a satelite Health Campus which includes a 72-bed Women's and Children's Hospital, a comprehensive Cancer Center, Cardiac and Orthopaedic Center and the Oglesby Center, and a joint venture with a number of local physician practices.
Anderson, SC is located just off the I-85 corridor, half-way between Charlotte and Atlanta, and thirty minutes from Greenville, SC. Mountain retreats and beach resorts are within easy reach, and Lake Hartwell, a popular recreational lake, is in our back yard.

In our more than 100 years, AnMed Health in Anderson, SC has become one of the state's largest healthcare providers. Today we have 3400 employees in 30 locations including four hospitals, a comprehensive cancer center, home health, outpatient services, cardiac and orthopaedic center, urgent care facility, digestive health center and sleep diagnostic center, as well as a network of medical practices in the Upstate and Northeast Georgia.
